ONLINE FORUM
Share with us your experiences and thoughts! We strongly support and advocate for people to embrace and accept who they are, and we understand that acceptance is not always welcomed by those around you. We also understand that sometimes sharing experiences in an LGBTIQA relationships can be difficult; for this reason, we have created a platform where you can connect and support one another during and after experiences of partner violence. We also encourage those who have supported others or are supporting friends or family who are part of the LGBTIQA to share their experiences.
We understand the many pressures associated with both living openly part of the LGBTIQA community, and living a closeted life. The pain, the loneliness, the stigma and social isolation associated with being part of the LGBTIQA community are all pressures which can be relived by seeking guidance and help (professional & communal) and learning from shared experiences.
The Safe Love Network is offering a forum to the LGBTIQA community where friendships can be created and experiences and struggles can be shared. Understanding your journey during and after a toxic relationship involving domestic violence is important; your strength, challenges and encounters with service providers, friends and family to help you find a way are all significant elements to this debate that you can share on here. Thoughts about the development and funding of domestic violence programs for the LGBTIQA community will be greatly appreciated.
